The inspection cover in the foreground partially covered by concrete is all that shows of the big hole. Small pools of water lie on the slab, having worked their way to the surface. The unfinished section bottom right is the stepdown for the garage door. It will be formed when the mix has stiffened a bit. Time from arrival of concrete truck to this point, about 1 hour.
